Traffic Engineering Consulting Services, Village of Port Chester, NY
Adler Consulting is currently providing traffic engineering services on an "On-Call" basis. The services included the preparation of the Mill Street Corridor Study and the review of a proposed redevelopment of the United Hospital Site. Additional Traffic Engineering Services included the assessment of potential traffic and parking impacts as well as the development of a Maintenance and Protection of Traffic (MPT) Plan for the proposed reconstruction/replacement of the Willett Avenue Bridge by Metro-North Railroad (MNR), a review of retail and office developments, a review of the conversion of a gasoline station with service bays to a service station with a convenience store. Lastly, a Traffic Signal Plan was prepared for the intersection of North Regent Street and Glen Avenue.

Traffic Engineering Consulting Services, Town of Clarkstown, NY
Adler Consulting was retained by the Town of Clarkstown to provide Traffic Safety and Consultation Services on an "On-Call" basis. Adler Consulting helped the Town to prepare their guidelines for traffic calming to reduce operating speed and to enhance safe and efficient traffic operating conditions and reviewed traffic calming measures in the Camelot neighborhood. Also, Adler Consulting studied changes in signal operation at the intersection of Little Tor Road and Germonds Road including short-term as well as capital-intensive improvements. Further, Adler Consulting prepared a contract document for the Maintenance and Emergency Repair of Town of Clarkstown Vehicular Traffic and Pedestrian Control Signals and Devices.

Traffic Engineering Consulting Services, Town/Village of Harrison, NY
Town/Village of Harrison retained Adler Consulting to review a proposal to construct a new medical office building with two-level parking in the Purchase Professional Park and to review an application for an adaptive re-use of two existing office buildings into a residential facility.

Traffic Engineering Consulting Services, Town of Oxford, CT
Adler Consulting was retained by the Planning and Zoning Commission of the Town of Oxford to review the traffic engineering component of the application by Oxford Commons for the construction of approximately 120 single-family, detached homes on a parcel located south of Airport Access Road with access to Hurley Road. The study included the review of the Traffic Impact and Access Analysis and a review of the roadway geometry for access by trucks.

Westchester County Signal, Mount Vernon, NY
Evaluated the physical condition of and traffic operating conditions at 60 city-owned signals in the City of Mount Vernon as part of a Federally-funded program directed by the County to identify efficiencies and to lay the groundwork for applications for CMAQ funding for signal upgrades.

Arch Street Corridor Traffic Study, Greenwich, CT
The Town of Greenwich, Connecticut contracted Adler Consulting to analyze the traffic flow characteristics and recommend mitigation to improve safety and efficiency.

Stamford Transportation Center, Stamford, CT
Adler Consulting is providing traffic engineering services as part of a large-scale project for ConnDOT which will double the capacity of the Transportation Center. Considerations include access, internal circulation and its impact on the adjacent street system.

West Washington Avenue Corridor Study, Pearl River, NY
Adler Consulting was retained by the County of Rockland to study the Washington Avenue Corridor in the Town of Orangetown and to propose traffic calming measures to reduce operating speed and to enhance the viability of the arterial as a residential corridor.

NY Route 125 Corridor, New Rochelle and Scarsdale, NY
Adler Consulting was retained by the county of Westchester to study the NY Route 125 corridor to determine an appropriate roadway configuration to best provide safe and efficient traffic operating conditions.

Bank Street Widening, White Plains, NY
Adler Consulting provided traffic engineering services for the City of White Plains including reconstruction of signals at three intersections and the preparation of Protection and Maintenance of Traffic plans for the corridor.

North Street Corridor, New Rochelle, NY
The City of New Rochelle retained Adler Consulting to review existing geometrics, traffic volumes and patterns and to propose roadway configurations to accommodate future flows of traffic.

Port Newark/Elizabeth Marine Terminal, NJ, Port Authority of New York & New Jersey
The Port Authority of New York and New Jersey included the services of Bernard Adler, P.E. as part of their Value Planning/Engineering effort to provide traffic engineering expertise in the review of an internal circulation/signing plan for the marine/trucking complex.

  • Rockland County, NY. Over twenty assignments were on an "as-needed" basis.

  • Village of Nyack, NY. Work efforts included the study of an adaptive reuse of older buildings in the Village’s central business district as well as an expansion of the public library.

  • Town of Cortlandt, NY. Over 25 assignments were performed including accident studies, signal and roadway improvement designs, as well as SEQRA reviews of projects large and small a well as providing the Town’s Department of Technical Services advice and direction on matters relating to traffic.

  • Town of Orangetown, NY. Adler Consulting designed a traffic signal installation at the intersection of West Washington Avenue and Cener Street, in Pearl River, NY.

  • County of Orange NY. Adler Consulting designed traffic signals for: the at-grade railroad crossing of a spur of CONRAIL and Neelytown Road in Montgomery, the relocation of CR 78 in Middletown, and the intersection of CR67/CR 50 in Wallkill, NY.

  • Town of Woodbury, NY. Adler Consulting provided the Town of Woodbury, NY with traffic engineering services on an "as-needed" basis. Projects have included SEQRA and Site Plan reviews for the WP-3 (Suburban Junction) development, the Legacy Ridge development and the Interstate Commerce Center Site A project.

  • Village of Ardsley, NY. Adler Consulting was engaged by the Village of Ardsley to review traffic operating conditions on Route 9A in the heart of the Village and to identify measures to improve deficient conditions.
